Terms & Conditions

A legal disclaimer

By booking, purchasing, enrolling in, attending, or using any services provided by Bonded Behaviour Training, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Training Sessions:

1.1. One-to-one training sessions last up to 1 hour. Session length may vary slightly depending on your dog’s needs and the focus of the session. Priority is given to the quality of the session rather than the exact duration.

1.2. Bonded Behaviour Training uses reward-based and welfare-focused methods. While every effort is made to support progress, outcomes cannot be guaranteed, as progress depends on factors including your dog’s history, behaviour, health, environment, and your consistency in following training advice.

1.3. With your consent, photographs or videos may be taken during sessions for training records, progress tracking, educational purposes, or social media. Please notify Bonded Behaviour Training in writing if you do not consent.

2. Health & Behaviour:

2.1. You must disclose any relevant health, behavioural, or welfare concerns relating to your dog before sessions begin and keep Bonded Behaviour Training updated about any changes.

2.2. Bonded Behaviour Training reserves the right to decide whether a dog is suitable for a class, package, or session. If a dog presents a safety or welfare concern, entry may be refused or the service may be paused or ended.

2.3. Female dogs in season may not attend in-person classes or shared training settings. Where appropriate, an alternative may be offered.

2.4. You are responsible for ensuring that your dog is appropriately vaccinated, wormed, and treated for fleas and ticks. Dogs with known or suspected contagious illness, parasites, or other conditions that may place others at risk must not attend sessions.

2.5. Attendance at classes or in-person sessions carries inherent risk, including the possible spread of infection or the risk of injury caused by dogs in a training environment. You remain responsible for your dog’s behaviour and handling at all times.

3. Bookings & Payments:

3.1. Training packages, sessions, classes, and other services are sold as prepaid services and must be purchased and paid for in full before any sessions are booked or attended, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Bonded Behaviour Training.

3.2. Where payment other than immediate online purchase has been agreed, an invoice will be issued and payment must be made within 7 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise stated in writing. Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received.

3.3. Training packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any unused sessions remaining after this period may be forfeited.

3.4. Where payment by instalments has been agreed, all instalments remain payable in line with the agreed schedule.

3.5. Late or overdue payments may be subject to interest at 8% above the Barclays base rate, together with any reasonable recovery or administration costs permitted by law.

4. Consumer Cancellation Rights and Early Session Booking:

4.1. If you book as a consumer online, by phone, or otherwise at a distance, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of the date the contract is entered into.

4.2. Where you purchase a session or package and choose to book your first session within this 14-day cancellation period, you expressly request that Bonded Behaviour Training begins providing the service before the end of that cancellation period.

4.3. If you cancel within the 14-day cancellation period after services have started at your request, you must pay for the services already provided up to the date of cancellation.

4.4. If the service has been fully performed within the 14-day cancellation period at your express request, your right to cancel may no longer apply.

5. Cancellations, Package Changes and Refunds:

5.1. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or rearrange a booked session.

5.2. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will be charged at the current single-session rate.

5.3. Where a multi-session package is purchased and you later cancel before all sessions have been used, any sessions already attended will be recalculated at the current single-session rate rather than the discounted package rate. This means the package discount will no longer apply to the sessions already used.

5.4. Any refund due following cancellation of a package will be calculated after deducting:
(a) the value of any sessions already used, charged at the current single-session rate;
(b) any applicable late cancellation charges; and
(c) an administration fee of £15.

5.5. Missed classes, missed sessions, and unused sessions are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

5.6. Refunds, where due, will be processed within a reasonable period.

5.7. No term in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights.

6. Changes by Bonded Behaviour Training:

6.1. Bonded Behaviour Training reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule any session, class, or service where necessary.

6.2. Where Bonded Behaviour Training cancels a session or service, an alternative appointment, credit, or refund may be offered as appropriate.

7. Mentoring Subscriptions:

7.1. Mentoring subscriptions may be cancelled by you at any time.

7.2. Payments already made for mentoring subscriptions are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

8. Liability:

8.1. You are responsible for any loss, injury, illness, damage, or expense caused by your dog to any person, animal, property, or equipment.

8.2. Bonded Behaviour Training will not be responsible for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or loss of goodwill.

8.3. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

8.4. Neither party will be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations where this is caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control.

9. General:

9.1. These Terms and Conditions form the entire agreement between you and Bonded Behaviour Training in relation to the services provided.

9.2. Bonded Behaviour Training may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will apply to new bookings made after the updated Terms and Conditions are published. The Terms and Conditions in force at the time of booking will apply to your booking unless a change is required by law.

9.3. If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

9.4. Any notices or communications relating to services or these Terms and Conditions must be made in writing.

9.5. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
